Riverbench Ramblings – Happy Labor Day!

Riverbench Ramblings – Happy Labor Day!

Real Moments - By Linda

empty beach 2016 Happy Labor Day!! I’m also happy to say Hermine did not hit New Jersey as much as we feared. It turned toward the East and left us alone although I feel for the other states and families hit by the Storm.

Summer is unofficially over. Many children and teachers face a new school year. Bathing suits and white clothing go away except for a few weekends. The beaches tend to empty and thoughts turn toward harvest, apple picking, pumpkins and cooler weather. We also start thinking of fall holidays. Does your reading change with the season? Do you look for books which take place during certain holidays? Do you ever read books “out of season?” You can let me know at info@lindarawlins.com or www.facebook.com/lindarawlinsauthor

In the meantime, I want to thank all the unsung hero’s who must work on Labor Day and all those who work in the many areas that keep us safe, fed, happy, and healthy 24/7/365. Occupations that don’t recognize weekends, holidays, or “normal” hours. May you enjoy your free time as well.
