Books, Beaches, Brine – End of Summer and Literary Guest Jo-Ann Lamon Reccoppa

Real Moments - By Linda

Here we are, at the last full week of summer fun. It was great to be away from the desk, enjoying nature, sunshine and the ocean. I also enjoyed going to a number of Book festivals and writer’s conferences. A great time to meet fellow writers and readers!! In the meantime, the rewrites on Misty Treasure continue and I am hopeful you’ll see the cover reveal in a few short weeks. I am always sad to leave summer but I’m also excited to work on all the projects I’ve planned for the fall. The next book which is coming soon!

It always helps me to read as I’m writing so I make sure I’m reading a fantastic book written by one of my friends. I’d like to share some of their great work with you.

Fellow Sister in Crime (SinC) writer Jo-Ann Lamon Reccoppa has a fantastic Jersey Girl Cozy Mystery series. I love her writing. Her first book, New Math is Murder, is about reporter Colleen Caruso. She’s out on her morning run and trips over a dead body. She gets a column from her new editor detailing the investigation into the murder, but then accidents start happening. She uncovers multiple suspects, involved in secret affairs, as well as multiple problems, like her stingy ex-husband, rusted out car and teenaged daughter. Keep your summer going by reading Jo-Ann’s whole series!! Here is the link to her website – and I’ve included the link to the first book below.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your Labor Day Weekend by relaxing, reading and enjoying your free time!! Healthy, Blessed Reading and I’ll see you at the beach!!
