Looking for a Great Summer Read? Thu, 27 Jun 2013 01:35:42 +0000 admin

A Brother’s Honor by Brenda Jackson Thu, 27 Jun 2013 00:06:00 +0000 Linda Rawlins

A Brother’s Honor – New trilogy by NY Times Best Selling Romance author Brenda Jackson. This was a Giveaway in exchange for an honest review. I LIKED IT! I normally read mystery and I haven’t read a Harlequin in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the story lines, a few good twists, some very compassionate moments and very likeable characters. You also get the “romance” that Harlequin readers are looking for. The Granger Series (this being #1) looks like it will be a great series to latch on to. If you’re a Romance lover or a light mystery reader or looking for a great beach read – you’ll enjoy A Brother’s Honor.

Betrayal of Trust, written in 2011, one of the J.P. Beaumont series is one of Jance’s best books. J.P. Beaumont works for the Special Homicide Investigation Team also known by the acronym S.H.I.T. with his partner Mel Soames. In Betrayal of Trust, the governor of Washington State calls for help when she finds a “snuff film” on her ward’s cell phone.
