It’s Mid-August and time to get ready for school. Some of the college crowd have already moved back. Younger students are getting physicals, buying clothes and hopefully doing their summer reading. The book in this photo is very old. The apple which sits on top is made of marble and weighs several pounds. I purchased the apple on one of my tours of the marble factories in Vermont. It’s amazing what they can produce and touring a factory is well worth it next time you visit Vermont.
Honestly, I was looking forward to the summer in hopes of being able to relax and read a bit, but as hectic as life is, that didn’t happen. Now, I am looking forward to September to return to an organized schedule. One thing I would like to do is blog more often. I hope to offer a variety of topics and want to know what you’d like to hear about.
Would you be most interested in my characters? Scenic places near the locales I write about? Writing advice? Other writers I work with? Guest contributors? Publishing tips? Great writing websites you can use? Medical Terminology? Inspirational or spiritual thoughts? I imagine a rotation of these types of things, but I’d love to hear from you! Drop me a line and let me know. Encourage your friends to join my mailing list – www.lindarawlins.com and follow me on social media.
The next book in the Misty series is underway and will hopefully be released in November.
In the meantime, enjoy what’s left of the summer! Happy Blessed Reading and See you at the beach!
